Robert Gigliotti practices in the firm’s family law group. He has been practicing law for over 31 years, specializing in all matters related to family law, including but not limited to, divorce, legal separation, nullity, child custody, child support, spousal support, property division, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, as well as domestic violence matters.
Robert has served as a Settlement Officer and Minor’s Counsel for the Los Angeles Superior Court – Family Law Division. His experience as a family law trial attorney has led him to successfully represent clients throughout California in all types of high conflict and complex family law cases from inception through trial.
Born in Brooklyn, New York in 1959, he moved to Los Angeles, California in 1978. Robert received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology from Loyola Marymount University in 1986 and was a recipient of a Lewis A. Kingsley Scholarship. While employed full time, Robert studied law during evening classes and summers, at the University of La Verne, College of Law, and earned a Juris Doctor Degree in 1990. Admitted: 1991, California; U.S. District Court, Central District of California.
Robert and his wife Lora have been married for nearly thirty years, and together have three adult children. Robert loves baseball and has served on the Board of Directors for Woodland Hills Sunrise Little League for several years. Thereafter, the entire Gigliotti family founded and coordinated the Challenger Baseball Division, an adaptive baseball program for children with special needs, at Sunrise Little League. Robert enjoys cooking, all types of music, concerts at the Hollywood Bowl, and spending time with family and friends.
